The Chairman of the 2025 Ekimogun Day Celebration, Hon. Dr Jibayo Adeyeye (Esq) has fulfilled his pledge by officially transferring the sum of Seventy-Six Million, two hundred thousand Naira Only (₦76,200,000) to the Ondo Development Committee (ODC) for the development of Ondo Kingdom.
The funds were handed over on 31st December 2025, in line with the commitment he made during his address at the Ekimogun Day celebration.
Dr Adeyeye, widely recognised for his passion for community development, was unanimously selected in November 2025 by the leadership of the Ondo Development Committee and endorsed by His Imperial Majesty, the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom Oba Dr Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo Jilo III to serve as Chairman of the 2025 Ekimogun Day Celebration.
Following his appointment, he mobilised support from family members, political associates, business partners, friends, and well-meaning indigenes to contribute towards the sustainable development of Ondo Kingdom, covering both Ondo East and West Local Government Areas.
As a true son of the soil, Hon. Dr Jibayo Adeyeye has also identified several critical intervention areas affecting the people of the kingdom.
He has strongly advised the Ondo Development Committee (ODC) to ensure that the donated funds are judiciously and strictly utilised to address the identified needs and challenges confronting the community.
While expressing his appreciation to His Imperial Majesty, the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, for the confidence and honour bestowed on him, Dr Jibayo Adeyeye reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Ondo Kingdom, pledging to continue doing more in service to his people.
